    About this recipe: This is a crunchy snack made of rice flour.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 1 1/2 cups Boiled rice, uncooked
    • 3 teaspoon Roasted urad dal
    • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
    • 2 table spoon ghee
    • 1 teaspoon cumin
    • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seed
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
    • Salt to taste
    • Oil for deep frying

    1. Soak boiled rice for 5 hours. Drain and add urad dal. Grind finely without adding water.
    2. To this mixture, add coconut, ghee, cumin, sesame seeds, pepper powder, asafoetida and salt . Knead into a dough.
    3. Heat oil in a deep fryer and when hot, make small balls from the dough, about the size of playing marbles and deep –fry.
