    Dry Crunchy snack made of rice flour

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 1/2 cup Boiled rice, uncooked
    • 3 teaspoon Roasted urad dal/ black gram
    • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
    • 1 teaspoon Cumin
    • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame seed
    • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tablespoon Ghee
    • Oil for deep frying

    1. Soak boiled rice for 6 hours. Drain and add urad dal. Grind finely without adding water
    2. To this mixture, add coconut, cumin, sesame seed, pepper powder, asafoetida, salt and ghee. knead well into a dough.
    3. Heat oil in a deep fryer and when hot, make small balls from the dough, about the size of playing marbles and deep –fry.
