About this recipe:
Steamed rice balls, usually served for breakfast and eaten with sugar.
1 1/2 cup Boiled rice, uncooked
1/2 cup Grated coconut
Salt to taste
3/4 cup Water as needed
Extra time:6hr soaking ›
- Presoak rice overnight. Drain the water and grind the rice into fine powder.
- To this rice powder, add coconut and salt . Now, add water slowly as required and knead it into a dough.
- Make lemon sized balls out of the dough and steam for 15-20 minutes till done.
