About this recipe: This is like bheja ( Brain) fry :-) na na its Bhindi or Ladies fingers Fry. I love this and I am sure once you make this you will love this too... Its best as snacks during tea time in the evening

Serves: 4 

  • 300 gms Bhindi or Ladies finger
  • 2 cup Besan flour
  • 2 pinch bicarbonate or cooking soda
  • 2 tblspn corn flour
  • 1 tblspn semolina - small one
  • water
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder to taste
  • 1 pinch asefotida
  • 1 tspn turmeric

Prep:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. slit ladies fingers into thin long slices
  2. make a very thick batter of all the ingredients with little water
  3. heat oil in kadai or pan
  4. fry the bhindi till golden brown. add ladies finger one by one else they will be bonded together and u will see a plam not finger :-)
  5. ready to be served with sause or just the fry!
