    About this recipe: Simple but delicious spiced tea

    Serves: 4 

    • 500 ml (2 c) Water
    • 500 ml (2 c) milk
    • 1 T whole fennel seed
    • 1.5 tsp whole hulled cardomom seed
    • 4 to 6 whole cloves
    • 4 T Mamri style CTC tea, loose
    • to taste sugar, honey, or artificial sweetener

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Use whole spices ONLY.
    2. Boil the water. Add the whole spices and leave at a slow boil for 3 minutes.
    3. Add the milk and bring back to a bare simmer.
    4. Add the tea and do a slow boil on low for no more than 2 to 3 minutes. It can get bitter if you leave it on the heat longer than that.
    5. Remove from the stove, strain, and serve.
    6. Sugar to taste
