    About this recipe: This is a Chinese-Bengali fusion recipe for a meat dish. It is served with fried rice or noodles.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 1/2 kg of boneless beef cubes
    • 1 egg
    • Salt as needed
    • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
    • 1/2 cup of ginger slices
    • 1 cup of motor dana
    • 1 cup of chopped carrots
    • 1 cup of raw papaya, sliced
    • 2 teaspoon of corn flour
    • 2 teaspoon of sugar
    • Green chillies-as preferred
    • water as needed

    1. Marinate the beef cubes with the egg beat and salt in regular temperature.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger slices. Stir for a bit and add the beef cubes. Also add 4 cups of water.
    3. Stir again and turn the heat down. Allow to cook for 10 minutes.
    4. Now add the motor dana, sliced carrots and papaya and stir again. Cover for 5 more minutes.
    5. On a separate bowl, add the corn flour, sugar and a bit of salt. Also add 2 tablespoons of water and stir well to make a smooth mixture
    6. Pour this mixture on the beef cubes and stir and mix well. Put the lid on and allow to cook on low heat until the beef cubes become soft and tender.
    7. Serve with fried rice.
