About this recipe: Kathal or Jack fruit is the national fruit in Bangladesh that is available in the summer. The jack fruit cake is made in rural and urban areas in many different ways. This recipe does not have a very strong flavor of the jack fruit, but rather gives off a rich and flavorful scent. It is really yummy, and I truly believe that each bite of this cake is a little piece of heaven. :) It is delicious by itself.
