Special Chola Bhuna

    This is a special way to have chola ( a kind of Dal-lentil) bhuna during Ramadan. The chanachur adds in the special crunchy edge.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 cup of cooked chola bhuna
    • 1 tablespoon green chili slices
    • 1 tablespoon of onion slices
    • 1 tablespoon of coriander slices
    • 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
    • 1 handful of chanachur ( Bombay mix-a kind of South Asian snack)

    1. Take out the cooked potatoes and onions
    2. Mix the chola bhuna with green chili, onion and coriander slices. Also add in the tomato ketchup and mix again.
    3. Sprinkle the chanachur right before the dish is served.
