    • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
    • 1 tablespoon of onion paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger and garlic paste

    • 1/2 cup of sliced onions
    • 4-5 green chilies
    • 1 handful of coriander leaves

    1. Cover and mix the fish pieces with just a pinch of turmeric powder and salt
    2. Heat 1/2 of the oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces just slightly.
    3. Set aside the fish pieces.

    6. Fry the onions until they turn brown.
    7. Add the spice paste to the onions and sprinkle some salt. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook with lid on until the strong smell of the spices goes away and the water dries up a bit.

    9. Pour in 1/2 cup of water and put the lid on and cook for 3-5 minutes.
    10. Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves
