About this recipe: Nimki is a crunchy salty snack that tastes great with flavored teas like cinnamon or ginger teas. The nimkis are delicious by themselves, but taste great with grated molten cheese.

  • 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
  • Salt as needed
  • 6 tablespoons of water
  • 1-2 cups of oil for deep frying


  1. First, mix the flour, salt and water into dough.
  2. Divide the dough into four portions.
  3. Sprinkle the rolling board with some flour and roll out each portion very thinly.
  4. Cut out 5-6 centimeter wide squares. Fold each square into one triangle. Fold the triangle to make another triangle. Repeat the folding steps to make more triangular shaped “nimki”.
  5. Heat a deep frying pan with oil. Deep fry the “nimki” until they turn golden brown.
  6. The nimkis can be air packed and eaten for 8-10 days.
