Peyara Bhorta (Guava mash)

    This is a recipe for a guava mash. It has lots of vitamin C, and is really easy to make. It is delicious by itself, and is made for Iftar in my home.

    • 5 ripe guavas (peyara)
    • 1/2 teaspoon of black salt
    • 4 green chilies, chopped
    • 2 slices of lemons, juiced
    • 1 tablespoon of sugar
    • A few coriander leaves


    1. Peal the skin of the guavas. Chop the guavas into small cubes.
    2. Mix the guava cubes with black salt, green chilies, lemon juice and sugar.
    3. Serve by garnishing with a few coriander leaves.
