Homemade chicken nuggets

    These homemade chicken nuggets are great for school "tiffin" or lunch. You can make a batch of one or two and freeze, and later deep fry when necessary. These taste great on their own, but are usually served with ketchup.

    • 1 cup of chicken paste
    • 1/4 teaspoon of green chili paste
    • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger paste
    • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
    • Salt as needed
    • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
    • Water as needed
    • 1/4 cup of corn flour
    • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
    • 2-3 cups of soy bean oil for deep frying


    1. Mix all the rest of the ingredients, except for corn flour and bread crumbs, together in a bowl and marinate for 2-3 hours.
    2. Make 7-8 small nugget shaped pieces out of the marinated mixture and set aside.
    3. Boil water and add the nuggets to the boiling water. Allow the nuggets to boil for 2-3 minutes. Set aside the boiled chicken nuggets.
    4. Mix in the corn flour with water so that a thick batter forms.
    5. Spread the bread crumbs in a flat dish and set aside.
    6. Heat a deep frying pan with oil.
    7. Dip each nugget in corn flour batter and roll it on the bread crumbs.
    8. Slowly add the chicken nugget to the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
    9. Serve with ketchup or sauce.
