    About this recipe: A typical summer drink when green mangoes have just arrived!

    • 2 small green mangoes, or 1 large green mango
    • 2-3 green chilies
    • 4-5 tablespoons of sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of black salt
    • 2.5 glasses of water or 4.5 cups of water
    • 2 cups of crushed ice, colored with food coloring, such as green


    1. Peel the skin of the green or raw mangoes and slice into small pieces.
    2. Blend the mango pieces in a blender with the green chilies, sugar, black salt and water. If preferred, a few drops of green food coloring can also be added.
    3. Stir well and sieve the mixture through a filter and collect the juice in a jug.
    4. Add the crushed ice in the glasses. Pour the in serving glasses decorated with a slice of green mango.
    5. Serve cold.
