Cumin Water or Jeera Pani

    A fresh drink of cumin and a hint of spicy chat masala.

    • 1/4 cup of cumin powder ( not toasted)
    • 1 tablespoon of sugar
    • salt as needed
    • a pinch of citric acid powder
    • A pinch of black salt
    • 1 tablespoon of chat masala
    • 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice


    1. Mix the cumin powder with water.
    2. Now add sugar, salt, citric acid, black salt and chat masala and stir well.
    3. Chill in a freezer for an hour. Mix in lemon juice and pour in serving glasses.
    4. Serve cold.
