Taniya’s Borhani

    My borhani is a bit different as I use chat masala. Serve cold and enjoy!

    • 1 cup of Greek yoghurt
    • 1 handful of mint leaves
    • 1 handful of coriander leaves
    • 2-3 green chilies
    • black salt-as needed
    • salt as needed
    • 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
    • 1/2 tablespoon of chat masala
    • a pinch of cumin powder


    1. Beat the Greek yoghurt well.
    2. Grind the mint and coriander leaves and green chilies into a paste.
    3. Add this paste mixture to the beaten yoghurt mixture. Mix well.
    4. Sprinkle the black salt, salt, sugar, chat masala and cumin powder. Stir and chill in a freezer for a while.
    5. Serve cold.
