Kalo Jam (Jambul) er Shorbot

    Jambul is another unique fruit in the Bengal. It is slightly bitter and sour in taste. However the fruit and its drink is considered very healthy. So you should definitely try it out!

    • 2 cups of kalo jam
    • 1/2 cup of cold water
    • 1 teaspoon of black salt
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper powder
    • crushed ice-as preferred


    1. Separate the seeds from the kalo jam (jambul)
    2. Mix the seedless kalo jam with the rest of the ingredients, excluding the crushed ice.
    3. Blend the mixture in a blender.
    4. Serve with crushed ice.
