    About this recipe: This is a great way to savor up some salty and sweet biscuits with tea. Enjoy!

    • 1.25 teaspoons of baking powder
    • 2 cups of flour
    • 1 cup of melted butter oil
    • 1 cup of powdered sugar
    • 1.5 teaspoons of salt
    • 0.25 teaspoon of kalo jeera or black cumin


    1. Sieve baking powder and flour and collect the powdery mixture in a bowl. Set aside.
    2. Mix the butter oil, powdered sugar and salt.
    3. Now add the flour and baking powder mixture, a little at a time to the oil and sugar mixture and mix well.
    4. Sprinkle the kalo jeera or black cumin and mix and kneed into dough.
    5. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a round tortilla.
    6. Cut out small shapes using a biscuit cutter.
    7. Grease a baking tray. Place the biscuit moulds on the tray and put it on the second rack from top in the baking oven.
    8. Turn off the lower system of the baking oven after 5 minutes of baking.
