Narikel Chepa Biscuits or Coconut Biscuits

    • 1 cup of powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup of grated coconut
    • 1 cup of butter oil
    • 1.25 teaspoons of baking powder
    • 2 cups of flour


    1. Mix the sugar, grated coconut and butter oil well.
    2. Sieve baking powder and flour together and collect the mixture in a bowl.
    3. Now add the baking powder and flour mixture, just a little by little, to the sugar, butter oil and coconut mixture while continuously mixing the ingredients.
    4. Take a small portion of the mixture in your palm after it has been mixed well. Make a small ball and make a small indent using your little finger.
    5. Check to see if there are small cracks along the sides of the ball. This means that the mixture has been kneaded well. If there are no cracks, then break down the ball and mix again with the dough.
    6. Repeat to make 8-10 balls.
    7. Place the tray on the first rack from top. Bake at 160 degree Celsius for 7-10 minutes.
    8. Turn off the lower system of the baking oven after 5 minutes of baking.
