    About this recipe: This is my unique way to spice up pizza~the desi way! It is of course spicy, and I love using the panir (cheese) that is made in our country. Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    • 1 teaspoon of soybean oil as needed
    • 1/2 cup of minced beef with the water strained
    • 1 cup of onion slices
    • 1 teaspoon of ginger paste
    • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
    • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
    • 1 teaspoon of onion paste
    • 1 cardamom
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 2 bay leaves
    • salt as needed
    • 1/2 cup of water
    • 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder
    • 1 teaspoon of sugar
    • 1 tablespoon of milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon of yeast powder
    • 1 cup of flour
    • 1 egg
    • 3 tablespoons of grated cheese ( panir)
    • 1 tablespoon of chopped mushroom
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon of grated carrots
    • 1 egg, beaten well

    Directions

    1. Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of soybean oil. Add the minced beef, onion slices, ginger and garlic pastes, red chili and turmeric powders, onion paste, cardamom, cinnamon stick, bay leaves and salt. Stir well and cook until the water released from the meat dries up and the oil starts to simmer on top.
    2. Add 1/2 cup of water and put the lid on. Cook until the meat becomes tender and the water dries up and the oil starts to simmer on top.
    3. Pour in the tomato sauce and sprinkle the black pepper powder. Mix well.
    4. Turn the heat off and set aside the cooked minced beef.
    5. Now mix the sugar, milk, yeast powder, flour and egg together. Add a bit of water and kneed well to make dough. Set aside for 30 minutes. The dough will rice.
    6. Roll out the dough on a greased pizza-baking tray as a pizza crust.
    7. Brush the oil on the pizza dough crust. Sprinkle the cooked minced beef, 2 tablespoons of the cheese, mushroom, tomato and carrot slices.
    8. Crack an egg in a bowl. Beat it well. Brush the beaten egg all over the pizza toppings. Finally add the remaining cheese.
    9. Pre heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
    10. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
    11. Serve desi style homemade pizza.
