About this recipe: This is one of the recipes that I have just made on my own while experimenting with different ingredients. It is delicious by itself.

  • 4 eggs, with the egg yolks and whites separated into 2 different bowls
  • 1 tin of condensed milk ( around 200 g)
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 drops of vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoon of lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, for greasing the tray
  • 3/4 cup of whole wheat biscuit crumbs


  1. Beat the egg yolks in a bowl with a whisker. When the color turns whitish, add condensed milk, sugar, vanilla essence and lemon rind. Also sprinkle the jayatri powder ( mace powder), and lemon juice. Mix with spoon.
  2. Take the egg whites in a separate bowl. Beat well using an egg beater. Now pour the beaten egg whites, a little by little to the egg yolk mixture, and mix with spoon.
  3. Grease a baking dish with butter. Make a layer with the crumbs of whole wheat biscuits.
  4. Pour in the egg mixture.
  5. Bake for 180 degree Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Serve.
