Bangi-Grapes Lachchi

    Bangi and grapes make a great and easy lachchi. It is delicious by itself.

    • 1 cup of red grapes
    • 1 cup of bangi (Muskmelon) slices
    • 2 cups of sweet yoghurt
    • 2.5 cups of water
    • crushed ice-as preferred


    1. Blend the grapes first in a food processor or blender. Leave out the skins after the blending takes place-you can do so by sieving the blended fruit and collecting the juice in a jug.
    2. Repeat to make juice of bangi.
    3. Now add the grape juice, yoghurt and water and blend again.
    4. Serve with crushed ice.
