About this recipe:If you are a vegetarian and you feel tired of watching people indulge on meat based tikya or shammi kababs, then here is a treat for you. Try this green banana kabab, which is healthy and vegetarian, and of course tasty. Enjoy with sauce.
1/2 teaspoon of powder of toasted cardamoms, cinnamon sticks and jaifal-jayatri (mace and nutmeg))
1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
1 cup of soybean oil for deep-frying
Boil the bananas. Set aside to cool. Peel the skin off the bananas and transfer the bananas on to a bowl.
Mash the bananas well with hand. Mix in ginger and garlic pastes, onion slices, chopped green chilies and salt. Also mix in the powder of toasted cardamoms, cinnamon sticks and jaifal-jayatri and cumin powder.
Heat a deep frying pan. While the oil heat up, take a lump of the mixture in your palm and make a small ball. Slightly press with 3 fingers and place in the hot oit. Deep fry until the kababs turn golden brown.
