1 cup of jackfruit seeds, peeled, washed and each sliced in half
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 of pui shak, washed and sliced
4-5 green chilies
Heat a pan with the oil. Add the ginger, garlic and onion pastes, onion slices and salt. Stir and cook until the water released dries up a bit and the oil simmers on top.
Add the shrimps, jackfruit seeds and turmeric, red chili and coriander powders.
Cook until the seeds have softened and boiled. Add the pui shak leaves and stir and cook with lid on 10-15 minutes.
By now the leaves will soften, boil and become completely mixed with the seeds and shrimps. A distinct smell of the leaves will come out as well. The water should have dried up a bit to make thick gravy.
