Kachki fish curry

    This is an everyday fish meal that is rich with flavors from the spices used and the fish itself. Serve with rice and a fresh squeeze of a lemon slice.

    • 1/2 kg of kachki fish
    • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
    • salt as needed
    • 1 cup of onion slices
    • 1 tablespoon of soybean oil
    • 1 tablespoon of ginger paste
    • 1 tablespoon of onion paste
    • 1 tablespoon of garlic paste
    • 2 tomatoes, sliced
    • 1-2 tablespoons of coriander leaves, chopped
    • 4-5 green chilies

    2. Snapshot of powdered spices, green chilies, coriander leaves and salt.
    3. Snapshot of onion and tomato slices.
    4. Snapshot of frozen onion, ginger and garlic pastes.
    5. Mix all the ingredients together, excluding the oil, tomatoes, ginger, onion and garlic pastes and a bit of the coriander leaves and green chilies.
    6. Heat a pan with soybean oil. Add the mixture and stir.
    7. Add the ginger, onion and garlic pastes.
    8. Add the tomatoes. Stir. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
    9. Sprinkle the remaining green chilies and coriander and serve.
