Custard is a food item that varies widely according to the cook. It is a simple and great food item to have as a dessert or comforting afternoon snack.
1/2 kg milk
pinch of salt
1.5 cups of sugar
1 ripe mango, peeled and cubed
1 apple, cubed
1 handful of red or green sweet grapes
2 ripe bananas, chopped
1.5 teaspoons of custard powder
- Heat a saucepan with the milk. Add the custard powder and sugar. Stir continuously for a long time until the milk thickens. Also add a pinch of sugar. Set aside to cool.
- Pour the thickened creamy milk in a serving bowl.
- Add the fruit slices.
- Chill in a fridge for an hour or so.
