    About this recipe: Sabudana or sago is often used to make this comforting and refreshing breakfast dish in Maharashtra. It can be made very quickly, if you soak the sago overnight. Enjoy with fresh juice or chai.

    • 4 cups sabudana ( sago)
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 tablespoons ghee
    • 2 teaspoons chopped green chillies
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 cup crushed peanuts
    • salt as needed

    1. Soak sabudana in 2 cups of water for 4 to 5 hours. Drain the water out and allow the sabudana to dry a bit.
    2. Meanwhile, heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds and green chillies.
    3. Add sabudana and crushed peanuts to the pan. Stir and mix well with salt.
    4. Cook for ten minutes, while stirring regularly.
