About this recipe:
Boondis are small balls of sweet besan which are mixed with seasoned yoghurt to make this delicious yet simple salad. Serve with chapati or rice.
1 cup dahi or yoghurt
2 cups salty boondi (cooked bundia)
1 tablespoon ghee
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon curry leaves
2 teaspoons chopped coriander leaves
1 pinch of black salt
2 tablespoons sugar
- Mix dahi and boondi in a bowl and keep it in fridge for 10 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry and coriander leaves. Fry the ingredients for a bit until the seeds turn brown. Allow the mixture to cool down.
- Pour this mixture on to the bowl with dahi and bond.
- Mix in black salt and sugar.
