    About this recipe: Boondis are small balls of sweet besan which are mixed with seasoned yoghurt to make this delicious yet simple salad. Serve with chapati or rice.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 1 cup dahi or yoghurt
    • 2 cups salty boondi (cooked bundia)
    • 1 tablespoon ghee
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon curry leaves
    • 2 teaspoons chopped coriander leaves
    • 1 pinch of black salt
    • 2 tablespoons sugar

    Directions

    1. Mix dahi and boondi in a bowl and keep it in fridge for 10 minutes.
    2. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry and coriander leaves. Fry the ingredients for a bit until the seeds turn brown. Allow the mixture to cool down.
    3. Pour this mixture on to the bowl with dahi and bond.
    4. Mix in black salt and sugar.
    5. Serve.
