Arbi with yogurt

    Arbi is one of those vegetables that melts in your mouth when cooked well. It is a soft and slimy potato like vegetable for which it makes such a great combination with yogurt. The dish is spicy and tastes delicious when served warm.

    Serves: 4 

    • 7-8 arbi (colocasia)
    • 2 tablespoons grated coconut
    • 7-8 ground garlic
    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 tablespoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 2 tablespoons yoghurt
    • salt as needed

    1. Cook arbi in a pressure cooker until it gets soft. Peel off the skin.Cut it into small pieces.
    2. Mix ground coconut and garlic.
    3. Now heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and coconut garlic paste. Fry the ingredients slightly.
    4. Then add red chilly and haldi powders. Mix.
    5. Add arbi, yogurt and salt. Mix well, and cook for 5 minutes.
