Sabudana Vadaa

    Vadas are delicious owing to the deep fried crunchiness. Sabudana Vadaas seem to taste even better owing to the added starchiness of sabudana. Enjoy Sabudana Vadaas with cool yoghurt sauce.

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 cups soaked sabudana
    • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
    • 3 tablespoons toasted and crushed peanuts
    • 1/2 tablespoon green chili paste
    • 2 teaspoons chopped coriander
    • 1 teaspoon toasted cumin
    • as needed Soyebean oil for frying
    • Salt as needed

    1. Take sabudana in a bowl.Add peanuts and mashed potatoes. Mix well.
    2. Now add cumin, salt, green chili paste and mix well.
    3. Grease your palm and take a lump of the mixture. Make a ball from the lump and press it to form a flat sabudana vada. Repeat to make for vadas.
    4. Heat a deep frying pan with soybean oil.Now deep fry the vadas in hot oil.
