    Tawa Pulav is another great way to cook basmati rice and turn your ordinary Indian meal in to an exquisite one. It tastes great by itself.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 4 cups cooked basmati rice
    • 2 tablespoons chopped boiled potato
    • 2 tablespoons chopped capsicum
    • 3 tablespoons chopped onions
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • salt as needed
    • 2 tablespoons soybean oil
    • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 teaspoons pavbhaji masala

    Directions
    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Heat oil in pan, add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, onions, cauliflowers, capsicums and tomatoes. Stir and fry for a bit.
    2. Then add red chili powder, haldi powder, garam masala powder and pavbhaji masala. Mix well.
    3. Finally add cooked rice and salt, and cook for 5 minutes.

    this recipe gives only half the ingredients to be used. in directions u say mix cauliflowers,tomatoes, -- but no mention of all tis in the ingredients - why is this so.  -  04 Jul 2016
