    If you are looking for a gravy dish to go with your naan or roti, palak paneer is a great option. It has the blend of both palak (spinach) and paneer ( Indian cheese), and nothing can beat this combination. You can also enjoy it with hot steamed rice as well.

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tablespoons soybean oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 teaspoons green chili paste
    • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
    • 1 teaspoon haldi (turmeric powder)
    • salt as needed
    • 2 cups palak paste ( spinach leaves blended or grinded into a paste)
    • 1 cup paneer cubes

    1. Heat a pan with soybean oil. Add cumin seeds, green chili and ginger garlic pastes. Stir and fry until the cumin seeds darken just a bit.
    2. Now add haldi, salt and palak paste, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
    3. Finally add the paneer cubes. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve with chapatti or rice.
