About this recipe:
Rajma is a very healthy dish. The wholesome beans taste great when mixed with the spices. Enjoy it warm.
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tablespoons chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon fresh cream
2 tablespoons soybean oil
2 teaspoons red chili powder
1 teaspoon haldi (turmeric) powder
2 teaspoons garam masala powder
salt as needed
1 cup boiled rajma (kidney beans)
1/2 cup dry grated coconut
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- To make gravy for rajama: Grind onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves and garlic paste. Mix the grinded paste with fresh cream.
- Heat a pan with soybean oil, and add this paste. Stir and fry until the paste turns brown.
- Now add red chili, haldi and garam masala powders and salt. Mix well and add the rajma (kidney beans).
- Stir and cook for 5 minutes and serve with rice.
Garnish with grated coconut and cumin seeds.
