    About this recipe: It is a spicy and creamy dish of chick peas that not only tastes good but is also very healthy. The coconut milk adds the graviness to the dish, that makes the it very delicious. You may also experiment with sliced potatoes.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 3 tablespoons chopped onions
    • 3 tablespoons chopped tomatoes
    • 3 tablespoons grated coconut
    • ½ tablespoon cuscus
    • 5-7 cashew nuts
    • 1 tablespoon coconut milk
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 dried red chilies
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • salt as needed
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 2 cups boiled chole (chickpeas)

    Directions

    1. Make a paste of onions, tomatoes, coconut, cuscus and cashew nuts with little coconut milk.
    2. Now heat a pan with soybean oil, add red chilies and cumin seeds and coconut paste. Stir and fry until the mixture turns little pink.
    3. Add salt, red chili and haldi powders. Stir and mix all together.
    4. Now add boiled chole, mix it together with the ingredients and cook for 3 minutes.
