About this recipe:
Shevs are made from fried morsels of chickpea and rice flours. This recipe is a great way of cooking shevs into a spicy stir fry that tastes and smells fabulous as a snack.
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped onions
1 teaspoon haldi (turmeric) powder
2 teaspoons red chili powder
salt as needed
1 tablespoon besan powder
2 cups water
1 cup shev
- Heat a pan with oil, add cumin seeds, garlic and onions. Stir and fry until the ingredients turn brown.
- Then add haldi and red chili powder, salt and besan. Mix.
- Now add water, stir and boil for 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle shev at the time of serving.
