About this recipe:
Rassa methi is a fenugreek gravy. It is especially made during the cold seasons owing to its herbal properties. It is great for fighting infections and relieving congestion.
1 cup toasted peanuts
2 green chilies
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
salt as needed
1 cup coconut milk
2 cups methi (fenugreek) leaves
- Make fine paste of peanuts, green chilies and a teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- Heat oil in a pan, add rest of the cumin seeds and the above mixture and fry well.
- Now add salt and coconut water. Boil for a minute and then add methi leaves. Again boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
