    This particular recipe gives a spicy mixed vegetable dish, common in Maharashtrian households. Serve with rice or chapattis.

    • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 cup chopped onions
    • 2 tablespoons red chili paste
    • 1 teaspoons haldi (turmeric) powder
    • 2 tablespoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala
    • 1 cup chopped cauliflower
    • 1 cup peeled and chopped potatoes
    • 1 cup chopped beans
    • 2 tablespoons peas
    • salt as needed
    • 2 cups vegetable stock

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and onions. Stir and fry until brown. Add red chili paste and mix it well. Then add haldi, red chili powder and garam masala powders. Mix.
    2. Now add all the vegetables one by one and mix all together. Stir and add salt.
    3. Pour vegetable stock and cook the vegetables for 10 to 15 minutes.
