About this recipe: Thalipiths are rotis (breads) that are crispy and aromatic. It tastes great with gravy based dishes.

Serves: 3 

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup bajara flour
  • 1/2 cup jawar flour
  • 3 tablespoons rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons besan
  • water as needed
  • 2 teaspoons green chili paste
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • salt as needed
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons ghee

  1. Mix all the flours together with besan and water as needed.
  2. Now add green chili paste, cumin powder and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add onions to it and kneed to make dough. Make small dough balls, roll out each dough ball into round shaped thick chapattis.
  4. Warm a tawa with ghee and roast the chapattis.
