Methi paratha

    Methi has a very spicy and bitter taste and Indians often use it in to make parathas as a healthy dish. Serve with curries or bhajis.

    • 1 cup wheat flour
    • 1 cup bajara flour
    • salt as needed
    • 1 teaspoon green chili paste
    • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 1 cup chopped methi (fenugreek) leaves
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 2 tablespoons ghee

    1. Mix all the flours together with salt.
    2. Now add green chili paste and cumin powder to the flour mixture. Then add methi (mint) leaves and make dough-using water.
    3. Make dough balls, and roll out each ball into parathas. Heat a tawa with oil, and toast the parathas.
