About this recipe: Palak puris are a great way to make a healthy yet yummy dish. Serve these palak (spinach) enriched puris with chutney.

Serves: 3 

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons besan
  • 1 teaspoon green chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon dhaniya (coriander) powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • salt as needed
  • water as needed
  • 1 cup palak or spinach paste (spinach blended in a blender)
  • 1 cup water
  • vegetable oil for frying

Prep:25min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Mix wheat flour,besan, green chili paste, dhaniya powder, cumin powder and salt to make dough using a bit of water.
  2. Make dough balls, and roll out each ball into medium shaped puris.
  3. Heat a deep frying pan with oil, and deep fry the puris.
