    About this recipe: Moong daal ki bhaji is a dish of fried balls of Moong lentils. They can serve as great appetizers with chutneys.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 5 

    • 2 cups soaked moong dal
    • salt as needed
    • 2 tablespoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 1 teaspoon toasted cumin
    • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • vegetable oil for frying

    1. Grind soaked moong dal in a mixture grinder. Pour it in a bowl, add salt, red chili and haldi powders. Mix well.
    2. Now add cumin and carom seeds. Mix and add little water if required. This mixture should be little thick.
    3. Heat a deep frying pan with oil, and meanwhile, make small balls of this mixture.
    4. Deep fry the balls in hot oil.
    5. Serve with pudina chutney.
