    Dry Mutton masala is a dish with fried marinated pieces of mutton that taste and smell amazing after you garnish them with coriander leaves. It is a must for all meat lovers.

    Serves: 5 

    • 1 cup grated dry coconut
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 chopped onions
    • 5 to 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 4 cups mutton slices
    • 2 teaspoons haldi
    • 3 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
    • 3 teaspoons garam masala powder
    • salt as needed
    • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves

    1. Heat a tawa with 1 teaspoon of soybean oil, toast the coconut, cumin seeds and onions until the onions turn slightly brown. Allow to cool and grind these ingredients to make a fine paste.
    2. In a bowl, mix mutton slices with 1 teaspoon of haldi and red chili powders. Keep aside for 5-10 minutes.
    3. Heat a saucepan with rest of the oil, add the coconut-onion paste, stir and fry for a little bit. Add ginger-garlic paste,rest of red chili,haldi and garam masala powders. Sprinkle salt and mix well.
    4. Now add the mutton slices and cook until the meat gets soft and tender. Garnish with coriander leaves.
