About this recipe: This is a simple yet delicious dessert that can be made for any occasion, let it be Diwali or Shab-e-Barat. Enjoy with warm parathas or luchis.

Serves: 4 

  • 2 cups khoya
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons badam (nut) powder

  1. Toast khoya in a pan until it gets a little brown.
  2. Add sugar, milk powder and badam powder. Mix well and cook well until the ingredients are mixed completely.
  3. Pour the mixture on a serving dish, cut it vertically and horizontally to form barfis.
