Kairi panhe

    This is a summer drink made from raw mangoes, jaggery and a sprinkle of fresh ground cardamom. Enjoy with crushed ice, if preferred.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 raw mangoes
    • 3 tablespoons gud
    • 1/2 teaspoon elaychi (cardamom) powder
    • as needed salt

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:10min chilling  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Cook raw mangos in a pressure cooker.
    2. Remove the skin and take away the pulp. Filter the juice collected, and squeeze the pulp to collect more extract.
    3. Now add gud, elaychi powder and salt to the juice-extract. Serve chilled or with crushed ice.
