About this recipe:
Batata bhaji is another form of potato bhaji which consists of a particular kind of small pebble shaped potatoes. Serve with chapattis or rotis.
5 to 7 small boiled and peeled potatoes
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons haldi powder
as needed salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
2 teaspoons red chilly powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
As preferred coriander leaves for garnishing
- Grease the potatoes with oil, and mix in a few pinches of haldi and red chilly powder.
- Heat a pan with oil, add cumin seeds. Then add the potatoes.
- Sprinkle garam masala, red chilly, haldi and cumin powders and salt. Stir and mix.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
