About this recipe: Veg cutlet is a great hit amongst school kids who love to take it as school tiffin. It is easy to make and can be served with pav (bread) or paratha.

Makes: 5 

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped carrots
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cauliflowers
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon haldi powder (turmeric)
  • salt as needed
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons rawa

  1. Mix all the vegetables together in a bowl. Add corn flour, red chili powder, haldi powder, and ginger garlic paste. Mix and add salt.
  2. Now add some water to make batter. Make small round flat shaped cutlets out of it.
  3. Heat a frying pan with oil. Sprinkle some rawa on the cutlets and shallow fry until golden brown.
