Phodnicha Bhaat

    This is a great way to use left over rice and cook it up with spices and herbs. It is delicious by itself.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 chopped green chilies
    • 1 cup chopped onions
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 3 cups cooked rice
    • salt as needed
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Heat a pan with cooking oil.
    2. Add cumin seeds, green chilies and onions.
    3. Now add haldi powder and stir. Add cooked rice, salt and lemon juice.
    4. Cook for 5 minutes.
