    French beans are widely used as a main ingredient for various types of bhajis or stir fried dishes here. Serve this simple and flavorful bhaji with toasted warm roti or chapattis.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
    • 2 teaspoons red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
    • Salt as needed
    • ½ teaspoon sugar
    • 4 cups chopped beans

    1. Heat a pan with vegetable oil. Add cumin seeds and onions. Stir and fry until the onions turn pink in color.
    2. Now add red chili powder, haldi powder, garam masala powder, salt, and sugar. Stir and mix.
    3. Add the French beans. Stir and cook until the beans become soft and cooked.
