Murgh nizami is a wonderful chicken dish that is cooked with cashew nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, coconut, yogurt, and spices and garnished with coriander, lemons, garam masala that really makes this a mouthwatering and rich chicken dish that all must try.

    • 800gm Chicken curry cut
    • 100gm Ghee
    • 100gm Onion chopped
    • 10gm Ginger Garlic Paste
    • 05gm Green chillies deseeded and chopped
    • 05gm Turmeric powder
    • 10gm Peanuts crushed
    • 10gm Sesame seeds crushed
    • 10gm Sunflower seeds crushed
    • 05gm Coconut greated and deep fried
    • 15gm Yogurt
    • Salt To Taste
    • 05gm Garam masala
    • 10ml Lemon Juice
    • 05gm Coriander leaves chopped
    • 05gm Mint leaves chopped


    1. "Heat ghee in a handi, add the onions and saute over medium heat until golden brown.
    2. Add ginger garlic paste, stir for a minute and add green chillies and turmeric.
    3. Add the pounded nuts and seeds. Then add the grated and fried coconut and stir.
    4. Add the yogurt on high flame and cook till the fat leaves the masala.
    5. Now add the chicken, salt. Add hot water. Bring it to boil and simmer until tender.
    6. "Adjust the seasoning and sprinkle garam masala, lemon juice, coriander, mint and cashewnuts and stir. "
