About this recipe:
Anjir barfi is made from anjir or figs, which are rich in calcium and protein. This recipe is a great way to incorporate such healthy nutrients into something super delicious!
5 dried anjir or figs
3 tablespoons sugar syrup
1/2 teaspoon elaychi or cardamom powder
4 tablespoons khoya
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
Extra time:15min chilling ›
- Crush anjir in a mixture grinder. Set aside.
- Boil sugar syrup for 1 minute. Add elaychi powder and crushed anjir to it. Stir and add khoya, and mix well.
- Now put this mixture into a greased mould and chill in a fridge for 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish with almonds.
