Beetroot paratha

    Beetroot paratha is a beautiful bred colored paratha that is healthy and delicious. Serve with curd, curries or chutneys.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tablespoons besan
    • 1/2 cup wheat flour
    • 2 tablespoons grated beetroot
    • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon haldi powder
    • Salt as needed
    • 1/2 tablespoon hot vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon ghee

    1. Mix besan, wheat flour and beetroot in a bowl. Add and mix red chili powder, cumin powder, haldi powder, salt and hot vegetable oil. Mix and kneed into dough.
    2. Make dough balls. Roll out each ball into parathas.
    3. Heat a tawa with ghee. Roast the parathas with ghee.
